Eleven-year-Reine not really want to grow. He thinks puberty will make him a "pig" that is similar to those men who he had met in life. He often examines own genitals, checking, did he grow pubic hair, carefully recording his observations in a personal audiogenic. Mother plans to send him to summer camp, but Reine skillfully demolishes her plans, and remains a summer in the city.
