Claude,
a nine-year-old Jewish boy, gives too much trouble to his parents. Not
wanting to be with his "special" situation in occupied France, he wants
in whatever was to lead the life of a "normal" child. Sent to the
village for his own safety, he became acquainted with the "Grandfather",
a staunch anti-Semite and admirer Petain. Of course, "Grandpa" has no
idea about the nationality fallen on his head and the child accepts it
with open arms, his hardened heart melts, it returns to its former power
and instinct suddenly opened to help the neighbor.
